Today is the tenth anniversary of the death of our beloved clubmate Pat O'Brien, a man of the Rás, winner of multiple club championships, and one of the nicest guys you could meet. Every year we honour his memory by presenting the Pat O'Brien trophy to the best all-rounder across all time trial events in the club. Pictured here is this year's winner Cesar Lopes.

Pinergy Orwell riders put in a strong showing at the Leinster Road Race Championships, hosted on Sunday by Wexford Wheelers Cycling Club. The organisers delivered an excellent event on a challenging course, with tough weather conditions making the racing all the more attritional. Despite the demands of the day, Orwell came away with some outstanding results: Claire Diffley continued her preparations for the Rás with a superb ride, finishing 2nd place after an aggressive race.
