11th October 2026 Check out this video from our first youth inter-club spin on this glorious sunny morning! It really couldn’t have gone much better. We had over 20 riders aged 12 to 16 from six different clubs, spread across two 60km spins and one 40km spin, with something to suit every ability level. Our meeting point at the Corkagh Park cycle track worked well, giving riders a chance to do a few laps and get comfortable riding together before heading out on the road. With

Huge thanks to all the youths and parents who made the trip to Corkagh Park today for the Savills Orwell One-Day! We had 70 riders from all over the country, including several newcomers to Corkagh Park as well as some novice racers. It was a brilliant day of action - fast, fun and incredibly spectator-friendly. The season kicked off last night in Corkagh Park, with youth riders (U8–U16) back in action. We’ll be racing every Monday evening for the next 17 weeks, right through to August 11th. It’s a brilliant intro to bike racing for many young riders, and with clubs travelling from as far as Wexford, Westmeath and Cavan, the standard is always competitive. Rás na nÓg Report A fantastic turnout from 14 Orwell riders at Rás na nÓg, all looking sharp in the new kit!
