2025 Leinster Road Race Championships

Pinergy Orwell riders put in a strong showing at the Leinster Road Race Championships, hosted on Sunday by Wexford Wheelers Cycling Club.

The organisers delivered an excellent event on a challenging course, with tough weather conditions making the racing all the more attritional.

Despite the demands of the day, Orwell came away with some outstanding results:

Claire Diffley continued her preparations for the Rás with a superb ride, finishing 2nd place after an aggressive race.

Matt Lynch, who is enjoying a fantastic season, took a well-earned 3rd place in the C3 race.

In the M60 category, Shaun Kelly powered to the Leinster title, winning in style with a blistering sprint finish.
