Participants brought their own wheels and through real, practical experience, learned how to change a tube after a puncture, re-join a chain and demonstrated the simplicity of popping on a rear wheel, with confidence. It was fun, friendly, and genuinely empowering, giving riders the skills

2026 Orwell Womens League R1
The 2026 edition of the Appleby Orwell Women's League is up and running. Thankfully the weather played ball in the end though it was not looking good all day. We had a great turnout with many new faces taking on the challenge of the now famous Pine Forest TT route. A short but mighty test to get the league started. It was also great to see familiar faces coming out to support the league and give the women new to the league and target to aspire to. This evening's TT was w
