Appleby Orwell Women’s League – Round 4 Race Report Round 4 of the Appleby Orwell Women’s League brought another evening of competitive racing, with riders tackling a fast-paced circuit and no shortage of attacking intent throughout both events. Waller Cup, Bohermeen Orwell Wheelers delivered a strong and cohesive team performance at the Waller Cup promotion in Bohermeen, with the club particularly prominent in the feature C1 race and well represented across the supporting events. The Orwell Midlands 300km Audax took place on Saturday 11April. Many thanks to Francis Barry and Joe Wheatley who rode the route check ride last Weds. 37 riders started the even at 6am Saturday. After leaving Dundrum they faced into a serious headwind for the first 100km to the first control at Mountrath.
