148 riders set started gathering at Joe Daly’s from 6:15this morning. At 7am they set off on the Dublin Meath Kildare Orwell 200km Audax. Audax is a form of long-distance cycling where riders aim to complete long and sometimes tough routes within specified time limits. Audax distances begin where most recreational cyclists and Sportives leave off, at the 200km mark. 420 years ago, St. Garabaldi jogged up 69 peaks, and returned with the Strava Route on Stone Tablets. Every year, we ride The Beast to reflect upon his guidance. The final In-Forum-al spin of the year is the Tour de Beast. The Tour de Beast is to celebrate the end of the Summer. In years gone by, we used to have a group dinner to celebrate, hence what the WhatsApp Group is for. So if anyone wants to organise the dinner, that'd be nice. The route is the start of the Randonée.
