You may have already seen the news at cyclingireland.ie, but Orwell Wheelers are proud to announce that we will be hosting the National Championships for 2016.

The first of a set of separate races for Limit/Semi-Limit and Scratch/Semi-Scratch as part of the early rounds of the 2016 Orwell Club League took place this week on Wednesday and Thursday in Corkagh Park. John Blennerhassett reports back on the his race….

After last week’s prologue, the bunches got into some fast and furious crit racing this week, with separate nights for the Limit and Scratch groups. John Blennerhassett emerged triumphant from the winning break on Wednesday, while Valdis Andersons once again displayed his dominance on Thursday.

Skane Wheelers inaugural running of the Kilmessan GP took place last Sunday on a typical April rainy day. The course had changed from previous years and it was billed as a more challenging circuit. Brian McNally reports back…
