The 5th and penultimate round of the Scott Orwell Women’s Crit League will take place tomorrow night just outside of Dunboyne. Sign on will be open until 10pm Monday night – ENTRY LINK
Parking is in the M3 Parkway carpark off Junction 5 of the M3(directions below)
Race starts at 19.00 – don’t be late! Allow at least 90mins if you’re riding out from town.
There will be the usual handicap groups but all 4 groups will be racing at the same time in a chase format.
PARKING:
Parking is available in the M3 Parkway carpark. At junction 5 of the M3 it is on the left as you start on the R157
COURSE:
This week is a road race, we will be using the Summerhill out-and-back circuit, which is just under 40km.
The route is fairly straightforward but are two points where caution is needed:
1. The right turn at the roundabout just after the start. This can be busy with traffic in the evenings. We will have marshals at the roundabout but remember that they have no power to stop traffic – rules of the road apply.
2. The sharp, blind right-hander at 11k on the way out (which is obviously a left-hander on the way back, at 26.5k). Please take it steady into the corner and keep to your own side of the road. It’s narrow and is also a junction as well as a blind bend.
