With our own club league well underway, our track cousins over at Sundrive are launching their league next Wednesday, 1st May.

It runs for eight rounds, finishing on June 19th, with prizegiving the following Monday 24th. An Autumn League will take place in July and August.

To take part, you must be accredited for racing on the track – this takes two sessions, which are stll running on Saturday mornings. The first of these sessions is a special dedicated lesson on the track, and these take place on 4th and 18th May, and further dates in June and July as per the accreditation page. The second session involves taking part in regular training at the track, after which you will be cleared to race if you have displayed the necessary skills.

Also required is a track or full racing licence (incl. IVCA) – no one day licences will be issued. Track mitts and high pedal retention are compulsory.

If you need to hire a bike, turn up promptly between 18.30-18.50. Sign on is 18.30-19.00, with first race off at 19.15. No late sign-ons permitted.

All the details are available at the Track League page, including a document containing details of all the races.
