In the White/Red race:
Shaun Kelly staged an attack 10km from the finish which almost brought him victory, only to be pipped by a late bridging Sean Curtis on the line. Harry Rochford, in his first race in the whites came fourth, proving again his promotion was well deserved. Johnny O’Brien narrowly avoided a crash at the finish to take eighth.
Meanwhile in the Orange race, Michael Hickey continued his fine run of form to take fourth.
Orwell featured strongly in the Black race. Dave Murnane took second after going up the road in a group of two. Damien Long was third from a chase group of two, while Orla was ninth and Barry Redmond tenth.
