Killian O’Brien and Yvonne Doran started their seasons in style, netting results in the “Openingsweekend” of Irish racing.

First up was the Dublin Wheelers Open races on Saturday where O’Brien netted fourth place, a fine result in his first ever race as a Junior. O’Brien won the Club League last year as an Under 16 and seems intent on continuing where left off last year.

The action moved to Navan on Sunday for the Seamus Kennedy Memorial Races. Best of the Orwell’s there was Yvonne Doran who grabbed sixth place in the women’s race.
