Thanks to everyone who attended the ‘Get ready for Sportive season 2014’ events in Milltown and Ashtons on Monday night. Below you’ll find links to all the info referred to on the night, including everything you need to know about the Leisure Programme for 2014!

Thanks to everyone who attended the ‘Get ready for Sportive season 2014’ events in Milltown and Ashtons on Monday night . The feedback so far has been very positive, thanks.

Here are some links to the documents referred to over the night:

To paraphrase JFK, ask not what your Leisure Group can do for you… We’re looking for your help to fill in some of the gaps on the spreadsheet.  For events on the spreadsheet that don’t have comments or reviews, please feel free to contribute your views. This can be a full article, a couple of sentences, or just some bullet points.

We need a designated Orwell contact for some of the events. This role can be as all-encompassing or as minimalist as you like but at a minimum you will undertake to attend the event and to be available to answer questions as best you can from any Orwell member about the event. Beyond that, if you want to organise start times, places, riding tactics, post cycle refreshments, buses etc. that’s entirely up to you. For the Ring of Kerry, we are looking for someone willing to do the more all-compassing role.

If you have comments, questions, suggestions for improvements etc. please e-mail them to orwell.leisure@gmail.com
