Introduction

Scott-Orwell Wheelers will be holding The Introduction to Group Cycling for Women 10 Week Program again. We are hoping that this program will be as successful as it was in previous years. The first step in building that success will be getting it out there that the course is on. The program is open to female cyclists of all abilities. All levels are catered for, with the objective being the same for everyone; to instill a love, and safety, of cycling for all participants. The course will span the whole range of levels, from beginners to advanced, with the higher level taking on the Wicklow 200, or even racing.

Particular attention is paid to the basics of cycling which all cyclists, despite what their level or experience is, should repeat and be open to learning again and again. It is this whole spectrum of skills that will be coached in the course. The course runs on Monday/Thursday nights at 7pm.

The course includes puncture repair workshop, bike nutrition talk, skill development and lots more…
