Leinster TT Champs, Track Omnium & IVCA Round 9

Leinster Time Trial Championships – Saturday

It was a successful day for Orwell Wheelers at the Leinster TT Championships on Saturday, with Shaun Kelly taking a fantastic win in the M60 category. Shaun has been in flying form all year, and this result is a testament to the hard work he's been putting in on the time trial bike.

In the M40 category, Ian Devlin delivered another top performance, claiming 3rd place. Ian’s consistency this season continues to pay off with strong podium results.

Vets Track Omnium – Saturday Night

Saturday evening saw the first part of the Veterans Track Omnium, with Orwell well represented. Dan, Killian, and Orla all performed strongly across the events. The second part of the series will take place in July, and the trio will be aiming to build on their results.

IVCA Round 9 – Sunday, Kilcullen

Orwell had a strong showing once again in Round 9 of the IVCA league, with 10 riders lining out in Kilcullen.

In the Blue group, the ever-consistent Harry Rochford continued his fine season with a solid 7th place finish.

In the Black group, Roan Simms and Orla Hendron both showed excellent form, finishing 4th and 5th respectively. Donal Arundel also impressed, coming home in 10th to round off a strong team performance.

A huge well done to all Orwell riders competing across multiple disciplines this weekend—time trials, track, and road.
