Final report:

Last night was the last night of the Appleby Orwell women’s league. Over the last 6 weeks a grand total of 36 women have raced all or some of the races of the league, fair play to you all!

The league is run in a format that caters for both riders that want to dip their toe into racing and see what it is all about as well as giving the more experienced riders a chance to test themselves.

With a TT, 3 crits and a road race (which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the weather), it provides a nice variation of race formats.

After 6 weeks, here are the overall league results:
