Scott-Orwell Wheelers are pleased to announce the 2017 running of the Hammond Memorial Time Trial Event on Sunday June 18th.

The Noel and Kieran Hammond Time Trials are on Sunday June 18th from Roundwood.

First rider off at 08:30. Sign-on is from Roundwood GAA club from 07:30.

Course is the Usual 35km route starting at the back of the Reservoir out to Moneystown and back. The Route is below.

The U14’s and U12’s will be riding an 8km loop also starting at 08:30.

The Nationals are the following Thursday, so this event provides competitors to fine tune their preparations and form.

Prizes for A1, A2, A3, A4, Junior, Women, U16, U14, U12 and Team.

The Noel Hammond Trophy, for the overall winner, is the Old Rudge Cup which the club used to run as a 50 Mile TT back in the 50’s.

The Kieran Hammond memorial Trophy is for the first Junior.

Team prizes will be awarded when there are at least two teams of three riders in a category.

Prize-giving with tea and sambos in the GAA club afterwards.
