IVCA Strong Orwell Presence at Bohermeen and Summerhil

Orwell Wheelers riders were once again to the fore at two busy Leinster racing events over the past week, recording podium finishes and valuable points against strong fields.
Bohermeen

A huge field of 165 riders lined out in Bohermeen, with Orwell riders featuring prominently across several groups.
The standout result came in the Green Group where Terry Ferries produced an excellent ride to take victory and secure top spot on the podium.
The club also enjoyed a strong showing in the highly competitive Black Group. Orla Hendron claimed an impressive second place, with Shelley Horan making it a double podium for Orwell in third. Further strong performances came from Ronan Simms in fifth, Carmel Moran in eighth, and John Anslow in eighth place.
In the Blue Group, Daniel McElroy continued his consistent run of results with a solid sixth-place finish.
The White Group saw Harry Rochford sprint home to sixth place, adding another top-ten result for the club.
Summerhill
At the Summerhill race held last Tuesday evening, a field of 16 riders contested a competitive event.
Orwell Wheelers were represented on the points sheet by just two riders, with Johnny O'Brien taking sixth place on the night. Ronan Simms also impressed, finishing sixth
