First Aid course

Calling all Florence Nightingales! If you’re interested in learning some first aid, have a read of this.

Update: each evening is actually running from 7pm-10pm, not 6pm-9pm as previously stated.

Calling all Florence Nightingales! If you’re interested in learning some first aid, have a read of this.

The club have organised a first aid course for interested members. It’s run over two Tuesday evenings on April 8th and 15th from 7pm-10pm, in Bray Wheelers clubhouse.

It will have a special emphasis on cyclists and their likely injuries. We’re vulnerable to falls and crashes, and the course will show you what to do in case of a mishap.

It’s being subsidised by the club, so there’s a minimal cost of €25 to members, and then you’ll be a certfied First Aider for two years, when we hope to run a refresher course.

This will be of particular interest to anyone looking to get into coaching, as anyone doing level two needs a First Aid qualification.

If you’re interested, please contact Kathryn Keogh at 087-2939501 or barkersdoggrooming@gmail.com
