Well done to all 27 ladies who competed tonight in the first crit of the Appleby Orwell Women’s Beginner League! We had 14 women in the B race, initially accompanied by some of the A racers for some race tips and tricks as most experienced crit racing for the first time. Next week we will get you working together a bit more but well done on completing your first one!

Top 3 in B race:

1. Aline Diniz

2. Megan Roberts

3. Kim Hickey

In the A race there was a main bunch of 10 riders chased by 3 A+ with a decent handicap. The catch was made after 15 min of racing, and the 3 A+ fought it out for the top 3 finish spots in the end as well.
