Weekend Results Round-Up šā
It was another strong showing for Orwell Wheelers this weekend, with results coming in from multiple events across the country.
At the Foyle GP, Sean OāKane put in a solid ride to take 10th in the C1 race, while Luke Keaney continued his fine form, securing an impressive 2nd place in the C2 event. Matt Lynch was also in action and came away with 6th place in the C3 race, marking a strong day out for the club.
At the Ronnie Coates Memorial in Wicklow, Jonathan OāBrien produced a great ride to finish 6th, with Josh Francis not far behind in 10th, both riders adding more strong results to their seasons.
In the IVCA, Shaun Kelly claimed a superb win in the Age CP category, launching a perfectly timed last-lap attack to seal the victory in style.
Looking ahead, the club's main event of the year ā the Stephen Roche GP ā takes place this Wednesday. This prestigious criterium promises a thrilling evening of racing in Dundrum. Entries are still open, so donāt miss your chance to be part of one of the highlights of the Irish cycling calendar.
