Membership of Scott-Orwell Wheelers for 2017 is now open. See below for instructions on joining the club, along with CI or the IVCA.

2017 Membership of Scott-Orwell Wheelers is now closed. The remainder of the Summer Spins are ongoing.

The official club Winter Spins start again on the 8th of October 2017 – more details can be found on the Spins page.

Before joining Scott-Orwell Wheelers you need to ensure that you have a valid Cycling Ireland Licence and for Senior (18+) members you must have selected Scott-Orwell Wheelers as your club on the Cycling Ireland website.

Step 1: Join Cycling Ireland

In order to be a member of Scott-Orwell Wheelers you also need to be a member of Cycling Ireland. To join CI please follow the instructions on the following link: www.cyclingireland.ie

Additional information on CI Membership can be found on the following pages:

The IVCA is also an acceptable alternative for insurance: theivca.com

Step 2: Join Scott-Orwell Wheelers

Once you have joined Cycling Ireland you can then join Scott-Orwell Wheelers. The reason for joining CI first is that we require your CI membership number from an insurance perspective.

The link for 2018 Membership will be live soon.

A few points to remember when using the new system:

  • For New Members you will need to create an account on Eventbrite – this can be used if you are going to enter any other events that are hosted by them, e.g. the Randonnée later in the year.

  • Please use the same email address as you registered with Cycling Ireland as this is used to cross reference members.

  • Please complete all of the fields as requested.

  • Please ensure you enter you Cycling Ireland Licence Number – for Leisure Licence this is the LM-123456 number / for Competition licence it will be 17LC123456 or 17AX123456.

If you need assistance with a transfer or similar, please contact the membership secretary.
