Women's Crit League

5 weeks have flown by and the final round of the Appleby Orwell Womens league will take place this coming Tuesday the 23rd of May! We will return to Batterstown for a repeat of the round 1 course which gives everyone a chance to see how much they have improved. Full details and standings going into the final round below….

The 5th and penultimate round of the Scott Orwell Women’s Crit League will take place Tuesday night (16th May) just outside of Dunboyne. Sign on will be open until 10pm Monday night – ENTRY LINK Read on for details

Round three of the Appleby Orwell Womens League will take place on Tuesday the 9th of May in Corkagh Park. Racing will start at 7pm with the B race followed by the A race at 7.30pm. ENTRIES FOR ROUND THREE WILL CLOSE ON MONDAY 8TH MAY AT 10pm. you can enter here: ENTRY LINK

It’s all coming down to the final TT! The last round of the Appleby Orwell Women’s League will take place on Tuesday the 24th of May and it is a return to the TT course in Glencullen. Round 5 of the Appleby Orwell Women’s League was supposed to take place in the glorious sunshine of Mondello……. But May in Ireland had other ideas! Despite our crossed fingers, the putting out of the child of Prague and constant watching of weather apps/rainfall radars luck wasnt with us this time and racing was cancelled on the night. The Appleby Orwell Women’s League is down to the final 2 rounds – Mondello on Wednesday the 18th of May and the TT in Glencullen on Tuesday the 24th of May. Suitable for beginners and seasoned racers alike, you can still sign up for individual nights even if you havent done the whole series. Read on for details…

The Appleby Orwell Women’s League 2019 came to a close tonight with the final TT round. 83 women raced in at least one round of the league! The final round write up will be posted later this week but until then here are the final round TT and the overall league results.

A beautiful, still night out around the lakes of Manor Kilbride/Blessington for round 5 tonight. We had 2 separate races with the A/A+ group starting first and the B/B+ group racing second. Despite the lumpy circuit the groups stayed together for the most part with 2 exciting sprint finishes. Read on for the results and latest standings with 1 round to go….

The 4th round of the Appleby Orwell Women’s League saw good numbers sign on in Corkagh Park despite the weather. It was Wet Wet Wet! After the previous rounds Orla Hendron had the measure of the groups and testing handicaps were set.
