Victory for Dodd in Wicklow

Orwell's Gavin Dodd took a big win at the Ronnie Coates Memorial on Sunday. Patrick O'Sullivan, Aine Reilly, and Jo Lynch were also in the results.

Pinergy - Orwell Wheelers' Gavin Dodd took a big win at the Ronnie Coates Memorial on Sunday. Fast man Dodd timed his sprint perfectly at the conclusion of the Bray Wheelers-promoted race. The win is his best result of the season to date after a number of impressive showings at the Inter Club League.

The win was just the highlight of a yet another fruitful race day for Orwell. Patrick O'Sullivan finished second in the main event, the Christy McManus Memorial. Meanwhile in the women's race - the Pauline Walsh Memorial - Aine Reilly was fifth while Josephine Lynch was tenth.
